Where it all began
I wrote my first poem when I was six.
It was for my grandmother’s birthday.
It wasn’t perfect.
It wasn’t complex.
But it was honest.
And I remember the way she smiled.
The way her eyes softened.
The warmth that filled the room.
That’s when I understood
words, when felt deeply,
can become something more.
Why I Write
I didn’t continue writing because I had to.
I continued because I wanted to recreate that feeling.
That same warmth.
That same connection.
That moment where someone feels seen,
without having to explain themselves.
The Journey
In 2020, I created Trevinpoetry
What started as a small space for friends and family
slowly became something much bigger.
Today, my words have reached millions across the world,
and a growing community of people
who see themselves in what I write.
Every message.
Every share.
Every connection.
It reminded me,
This was never just poetry.
Who am I
By profession, I’m a digital marketer.
But by nature,
I’ve always been a storyteller.
I observe.
I feel deeply.
I notice the things people don’t always say out loud.
I love reading, writing, exploring ideas,
playing sports, running, traveling,
and experiencing life in its many forms.
My multicultural upbringing shapes how I see the world
and how I write about it.
Because to me,
Stories are everywhere.
Present & Purpose
Today, I’m based in Paris.
And I’m building something I truly believe in.
A space where words help people feel seen,
understood,
and a little less alone.
My goal is simple:
to touch lives,
to create meaning,
and to keep growing Trevinpoetry,
one poem at a time.
